What I Wish I Knew About Personal Finance in College

I’m uploading the slides below of a presentation I’m giving tonight at Northwestern University.

The talk is titled, “What I Wish I Knew about Personal Finance in College”.

The talk, not the slides itself, is the meat of the presentation. However,  you can get a good idea of the important principles I wish to convey.

Once completed, I’ll add pictures and video of the presentation on this site.

Well, other than the fact that you clearly switched the columns for Northwestern Nick and Fighting Illini Fred, great concepts presented!

An excellent run-down of what those entering the workforce need to know about personal finance. I still marvel at the lack of personal finance education I got in college. With credit card companies trying to get students to sign up for accounts (hook ‘em while they’re young – like tobacco) it’s a wonder how anyone gets out of school with a dime to their name.
